Psychotherapy for the Psychedelic | Andrew Amick AMFT

Andrew Amick, MA AMFT (CA BBS 121201)

Hi. I'm Andrew.

I'm a registered associate marriage & family therapist (#121201) providing psychotherapy services in Los Angeles and online in California. I work under the licensed supervision of Gary Pearle LMFT and Erica Siegal LCSW.

I practice an eclectic blend of psychotherapy modalities, drawing from psychoanalytic and psychodynamic therapy, Gestalt therapy, and humanistic psychology. Social science, trauma-informed care, and spiritual-holistic wellness also inform my approach; and when appropriate, I can tap into the skills found in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices.

My theory of mind is holistic and integrative.I will work with you to: help you understand your history and how it impacts your present and collaborate with you to outline a future more ideal

My approach emphasizes collaboration, emotional reflection, mindful and non-judgmental awareness, and relational authenticity. In short, this means I practice realness, emphasize non-judgment, and rely on our collaboration to drive therapy forward.

Call, text (323.507.3778), e-mail, or message me from my website if you've any questions or would like to get started soon.
